​Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful summer filled with sunshine, fun, and plenty of special memories with family and friends. With the start of fall comes a new season of Moms & Tots, and I am so excited for the year ahead!
 
Our board is stacked FULL of hardworking, creative, and enthusiastic moms who have been busy over the past few months planning events and activities for you and your family. This year, we hope to continue the events and traditions that have been successful in the past, while also introducing new ideas and opportunities brought to the table by our newest members.
 
We kicked off the year with a wonderful Kindergarten Round Up, celebrating nearly a dozen of our kids as they began their very first year of school. A big thank you to Mary and Katherine for planning such a special event and making sure our little ones were excited and ready for their first days!
 
We followed that with our second annual Muffins & Mimosas, hosted by Katie Colarusso, for our kindergarten moms. It was such a fun way for the kindergarten moms to gather after dropping off their kids on that very first day—to share a few laughs, maybe a few tears, and begin building the friendships and community that we have all grown to love in this neighborhood.
 
Our first moms’ event of the year, Hospitality Night, was another huge success thanks to Katie and Katelynn. This evening is always so special because it gives us an opportunity to reconnect after the summer break, share stories from our back-to-school adventures, and welcome and get to know our new CCM&T members. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend!
 
In this month’s newsletter, you’ll also have the chance to meet our new and returning board members. I encourage you to read their bios and learn a little more about the wonderful women who generously give their time and energy to make our Moms & Tots community so special.
 
I’m looking forward to another wonderful year together and all that this new season has in store!

​A Note From Our Board Chair

As we wrap up another wonderful year of Cress Creek Moms & Tots, I just want to take a moment to say thank you. This year has been filled with so many fun events, sweet moments, and opportunities to connect, and I’m so grateful to have shared it with all of you.

From our first gathering at Hospitality Night to our final spring events, Moms & Tots has been full of laughter, friendship, and special memories for both moms and kids. Whether you joined us for a fun event with your kids or a parents night out, your presence is what makes this group so special.

I especially want to thank this year’s board members for all of the time, energy, and heart they’ve poured into Moms & Tots. So much work happens behind the scenes to make each event happen, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done to make this year such a success.

A special thank you to our outgoing board members—Brooke, Erin, Kellie, Kelly and Nikki. Thank you for your hard work, creativity, and dedication to this group. Your contributions have meant so much, and we are so appreciative of all you’ve done.

I’m also excited to welcome Katelyn, Katherine, Kayla, Kristen, and Lena to the board next year. They’re already hard at work planning, and I know they’ll bring wonderful ideas and energy to another great year of Moms & Tots.

And to all of our members—thank you. This group is what it is because of you. Your support, participation, and willingness to show up and be part of this community are what make it so meaningful. It’s been such a joy to see friendships grow and to watch our kids have fun together along the way.

I hope your summer is full of family time, sunshine, pool days, and lots of fun. And when you have a quiet moment, we’d love for you to renew your membership and join us for another year of friendship, community, and memorable events.
